Police join pursuit after two sheep escape South Boston church A pair of sheep prompted an unexpected chase Sunday when they managed to escape from a South Boston church. The two sheep were set to take part in a nativity scene. When they broke free on Sunday, Boston police stepped in to help get them back into their pen. “The police were chasing them, I think about five cruisers,” said Father George, a parish priest at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish. “Some of our parishioners also joined them.”Priests described a wild scene as police responded. Ultimately, they said they were glad the black and white sheep were rescued unharmed. “We’re happy. They’re happy. They feel in a strange place, everything’s new,” Father George said. “Maybe they wanted to see the city,” he continued. “They didn’t get much of a chance. Maybe next year.”Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish officials said they are not sure how the sheep in this incident escaped or for how long they were wandering in the city before they were captured.

Dane Mizutani: For the sake of Justin Jefferson, Vikings must get this next decision right As soon as the words left his mouth, star receiver Justin Jefferson went out of his way to make sure everybody knew he wasn’t being disrespectful. He was simply stating an opinion about franchise quarterback Kirk Cousins that has more or less morphed into fact over the past couple of months.“I think it goes to show the world the type of player Kirk is,” Jefferson said after the Vikings suffered a 30-24 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon at U.S. Bank Stadium. “This is a tough league. Not everybody is meant for this job. It’s tough not having No. 8 out there.”Even if it wasn’t meant as a slight to career backup quarterback Nick Mullens, nobody would’ve blamed Jefferson if he wanted to be critical in that moment. After doing everything in his power to will the Vikings to a comeback win they didn’t deserve, Jefferson couldn’t overcome Mullens quite literally throwing the game away down the stretch. Not that Jefferson didn’t try.
